(22-09-2011)Subsidy for training courses
Fashion, sports and shoe companies can request subsidies from the European Social Fund (ESF) for as many as one hundred courses. The Hoofd bedrijfschap Detailhandel (Retail Trade Association, or HBD) is handling the ESF subsidy applications.
The ESF subsidies make the training of staff more attractive. There are some hundred training courses that come under consideration for an ESF subsidy, including many courses from Detex. The complete list is at www.hbd.nl/esf. Companies can apply for a subsidy between 1 August 2011 and 31 July 2012. Some 750,000 euros is available. When the total amount of subsidy has been allocated, no further subsidy can be provided. So it is first come, first served.
